Only thing I've heard is people moan that the reciever won't work 100yards away which I say bloody good it doesn't..

Maybe you have them set at a higher sensitivity than me, as no matter how ripping the takes I never have both alarms go off. I do use a fairly heavy pod though (JRC Extreme TX) and set it up rock solid.

It quiet possibly could be a dodgy batch I had, seemed strange how both alarms and receiver played up or even down too user error on the receiver.
These new Delkims are still tempting me,has anyone had any issues of picking up other peoples Delkims on their receiver.I had that on my last set of them but im hoping that is no longer an issue being digital
Do the new delks have a different tone or flashing LEDS for drop backs?

It looks like I've unintentionally started quite a debate, but I think you guys have answered my question.
Great alarm if set up correctly, will help pick up kiting fish that don't take line, but won't help with my current single bleep issue as they won't react in a way that will distinguish between a subtle liner or a finiky take

Don't think Delkim will ever be able to differentiate dropback cos of the vibration sensor which unlike a roller doesn't have direction.
Just a guess.

I have some alarms that have a different tone for drop backs but I think its totally pointless ?

Oh come on Gerry, the TXi+ Receiver has always had well documented interference and reception issues.....the new one is a vast improvement and showed just how poor the TXi+ was.
I too had a similar issue when I owned TXi's. Myself and 2 mates were on a holiday/social trip in the UK, all fishing the same area. We had set up a "base camp" in the middle to cook and socialise, no more than 40 yards away from the furthest set of rods. We were sat having tea one evening when i had a single beep on my receiver from a snyde rod about 30 yards away, in between us was a mound of earth a couple of metres high but no trees. I waited for further beeps, (none) and then decided to go and inspect. On reaching the rod about 2 minutes after the initial single beep it was in meltdown and still nothing from the receiver, fortunately i landed the fish.
After dealing with the fish i tweaked the alarm head in question and it registered straight away, I got my mate to go back to base camp and it picked up every single beep from the head. I then tested my other 3 heads which were in plain site from my main swim and the receiver initially picked up 2 of the 3 and then the third after switching it off, (the anti-theft didn't operate) and back on. All heads and the receiver had new batteries about 3 weeks prior.
For reception the TXI-D are very good, although i had other things i didn't like about them and moved to the Fox RX+.
