Wow, you really have got it in for ATTS alarms! lol. Strange really, as on the other thread you said you didn't actually own a set. I have experienced none of those problems you've listed in your post since owning my ATTS alarms. If you want an alarm, that goes beep when you get a bite, won't let you down, are waterproof, have a very good receiver, are reliable, then ATTS alarms are great for the money. Other alarms are available, but I'm not going to comment on those as I don't have actual recent experience of using them, so my my comments would be a waste of everyone's time.

i used atts alarms for a couple of years and mostly found them to be good reliable alarms apart from a couple of incidents
i cast straight in front of me with a zig never had a bleep when packing up my rig was in the margins next to me I cant be sure if this would or wouldnt of happened with my txi
when fishing for pike with open bail arms i watched my indicator drop off the line and the fish running and not a single bleep I was using power pro braid as my mainline i think it was to smooth to turn the rollers
Ive never used nash alarms but best m8 has had a set for years and swears by them
Im not in anyway saying atts are rubbish at the time i did as much pike fishing as carp fishing and changed for this reason

I never said I didn't own a set, I have owned a set. If you read properly you will see I said I never had fish kite with no indication while using them. The set I had I bought off here so I had 2 sets of alarms, one in my carp gear one in my cat gear. They were sold on very quickly because they are crap imo

Went for R3's in the end,even though finding the colours i wanted was a nightmare,
If anybody is after R3's JMC Tackle has all colour alarms and receivers in stock at the cheapest price i found anywhere.
