IMHO yes far better they have gone up in weight by 1kg so must be other improvements Im guessing

Yes, sorry mate the newer one. Certainly one of the most comfortable bed chairs I've had, and certainly the lightest.
Techlite compact turned up this weekend so looking forward to giving that a whirl next time I'm out.

I use the JRC Stealth X-lite Bedchair (6.7kg) and a Trakker Compact 3 season sleeping bag (3kg) this time of the year.
