cheers guys, I got a few options to go on now

Single pop up, cast well past them and quickly reel into where you want the rig and then feel the lead down. That way you dont have a lead crashing on their heads! Have found if they are feeding then a small pop up is all that's needed!

I would cast beyond them, and have the lead drop down on an arc, so I could feel it down.
If it is a reel in job it would be a single hookbait, but if I had a rod on the bank ready I might stick on a small bag or PVA mesh, maybe a stringer
