trouble is these new shelters are al made in china and its any ones guess when it will actually be possible to buy one

Typical though, just when you think you can buy a tent for a reasonable price, all of a sudden they seem more expensive to me. When you scroll down, look at the price of the DPM one and the compact with wrap!
Think I paid around £200 for mine all in, cracking bit of kit for the money

Not that bad, $55 dollars, what's that around £40 for a Trakker equivalent with their profit margins on!. Really brings home the rip off of a £600 tent

Yep, so much for 100% mark up!
We are all been ripped off and company's are milking the working man, that's the target audience, not the bank tramp, the people with money to spend. The popularity of the pastime, the commercialism and associated rip off opportunities has just created a situation beyond belief for me. I would stop buying Chinese today if I could but while all these middle men, sales company's, are peddling their crap i will try my best to bypass them before pay extremely over inflated prices. I hope they cancel out the middle men and the arse drops out of the market for them, greedy ****s. I don't have a problem with anybody making a profit but some of this is nothing more than an absolute rip off
