Fully agree. My old Wychwood brolly was quality and the material much better than my current Tempest

nah i did a test before i took it back to the shop.
strangely the material looked like it was covered in pin holes on a couple of the panel
maybe i got a couple of iffy ones.
but i would agree they are a cut above other materials, reminds me of the old wavelok material without the weight.

I've got the Wychwood Mhr mk11 full system, I've used it 5 times and had some heavy rain and leaked through the center boss! Then the thread on the center pole broke! Can't remember where I bought it from so can't get my warranty on it.Bit gutted tbh, now looking at an alternative, maybe the Esp Hideout as it looks very light and easy to put up.

I had one of the ESP Lo Pro brollies and it was brilliant mate. I ended up selling as I bought a Fast & Light to get a little bit more headroom but my mate is still using it with no issues at all.

The material is nowhere near as thick as the fast and light but I did some overnighters under it through winter with no problems.

I use an ESP LoPro from before they got released 3 years ago and i absolutely love it.
My old Tempest hasn't been up 3 times since then!
Tempted to get a Hide-Out as well because it's slightly bigger/higher.

I've had my wychwood solace about 7years now used it in all weather never used the overwrap. Brilliant bit of kit. Only negative is the boss system is low and not set far back enough. I imagine the new system has been improved
