Fox Easy Shelter is MOST DEFINATELY not flimsy! Done a few winter nights in mine when its blown a hoolie. Yes it flexed but never felt that something was going to give way. Agree it comes under the class of small bivvy but brollies work for many us doing days /nights all year round...

Fox actually do a 45 inch specialist brolly aswell. Used one for years, really good bit of kit. Packs down to next to nothing, and has the same rib mechanism design as the supa brolly so not in the way. Can actually squeeze a compact bedchair underneath aswell if you fancy staying on for the night.

Me too, 2 extra storm sticks and you can have it high for a chair or low for a bed. Light, easy and effective. Did two 48s during Ciara and one during Dennis, no probs, warm and dry. I imagine the equivalents from other brands are pretty much the same. Buy last years models at silly prices. Being on trend costs a fortune

Still using an aqua 50” with mini sides for all day only sessions to this day after 15 years use still in good nick.was my overnight shelter for short sessions until I bought a trakker tempest brollie last year.

A little heavy perhaps but as I'm ageing and my health isn't as good as it was I use a barrow all the time so weight isn't really an issue.
