Same as that. Set up rods and my bivvy in the spare bedroom 'cos they'll be the most expensive things to replace, don't take up much room propped up in the corner.

I have seen things in b n q that you could have your rods on to the wall which would save space on the floor and they wasn't expensive you would need three and place your rods onto them mate 
I have a clark wood rack on the wall which I have zip tied grey pipe lagging to to prevent it sratching rods - it looks alot better than it sounds and I can store 3 rods per level.

Thought I was a bit over the top with an original Armadillo, a Mk1 tempest and an NG brolly lolol.
I'm more of a "you can never have too many fishing rods" kinda guy though so make up for not having enough bivvies there
Rods that aren't in holdalls are stored on the wall. I've fixed some timbers vertically to the wall and then put rectangular gutter brackets on them to lay the rods in. Works ok.
Everything else is on shelves or generally scattered around to avoid the pond filters which are also in the garage.

If you can get your hands on them, you usually find them in supermarket car parks, they look like big baskets with wheels on and people push them round the supermarket and put there shopping in and wheel them to the car to unload. They also fit into the boot of a Ford Fusion as I found out when I took some into safe keeping one at a time.
These trolleys are perfect for storing your tackle, keep them loaded up in your shed or garage and when you go fishing just roll them out to your car and vice versa when you get home.. You can even chop the bottom off them, screw the basket bit to wall of the garage and put shelves in them for storage. Ideal for damp bags etc as they are airy and helps air flow to dry bags out.
I also used to use the big trollies that supermarkets get their deliveries in. Stand about 5 to 6 foot high, you can store loads on one, just like shelving on wheels and they are perfect and also fit in the boot of a car when you fold them up. Unless your drive is rough and they are hard to push along loaded with tackle without toppling over which is why I swapped to supermarket trollies.
Sadly, I no longer have a garage, so my one trolley I have kept sits in the garden and just use it to transfer tackle from house to car.
One day, I might find a garage in a supermarket car park, hopefully it too would fit in my car.

I bought some really big screw in hooks from B&Q and screwed them into the joist's on my garage ceiling And i hang my bed chair and day chairs + my waders from them.

Personally I wouldn't put anything valuable in your garage. All my gear is in a built-in wardrobe up in one of the bedrooms and although it takes ages getting it out and putting it back, its worth it as I could never afford to replace it. Sadly too many rogues about nowadays.
