got NTXRs and love them, would be interested to know if it's really worth changing to the newer versions? is it purely down to sensitivity and having two lights instead of one?

The reciever has better features too.I did not like the look of the reciever at first but the lights going all the way up and the bivvy light feature is very good.Also the leds dont seem as stupidly bright

I went from delkims to rx+ and I'm not convinced if I'm honest
It's nice to be able to change led colour but I do a lot of zig fishing and you can't beat the sensitivity of a delkim. I find roller wheel alarms a bit old in terms of technology
The rx+ receiver is ace tho and imo is the only thing that beats delkims. The alarms themselves are ok but no better

So have I, I didn't comment on Delks as it wasn't asked for in the original post, but I agree completely, I don't think you can compare the sensitivity of a vibro alarm (TXi) with a roller wheel.

So far so good with mine but early days yet as I'm after a set of alarms that's going to last a good 10 years .

Hi anyone had a recent review on the RX+ I have the ntxr but then battery drain on the reviver is horrendous, even sent them too dale electronics to get it checked, are these better?

Yes RX+ are very good alarms battery life is good in the recivcer

I had the NTXR's, only every changed the batteries at the start of the season, never had a problem with battery drain. Have the RX+ good battery life all round.

Just swapped my NTXrs for RX+ (not used yet) but never had any issues with battery life of the NTXr, think I changed them once in the 4 years I had them.

Hi that's odd mine would drain on the recover between sessions, that's why dale electronic tested it for me but claimed to be fine, what's the best battery I was using Duracell?

had rx+ a while now, i love them, cant fault them, no battery issues. I have lithium batteries in all my heads and receiver

Having come from Delkims to the RX + ,id have to say the RX+ battery life is poor in comparison , I have to change mie every six months ,I do fish a lot of nights .
Whereas the Delkims would last several Years .
Other than that and the Orange light goes red when you activate night light , no complaints.

I use Duracell's in my Ntxr receiver and heads and get a decent amount of time out of them , probably change them once / twice a year

Sounds like it's not turning off properly if draining between sessions. Fox do a standard repair charge of £28 (that was a year or so ago so may have gone up) could be worth sending it to them explaining the problem.

Always been a Delkim man but just can't get on with the new TXD's and didn't want to go back to TXi's because of the crap receiver. So a switch to the dark side it was and I'm so glad I did, I absolutely love the RX+, zero complaints from me so far.... 
I've also started to notice more and more people are using Fox alarms, including some of the well-known anglers.........in fact there was one of the very high-profile Korda lads seen using Fox on his Instagram feed the other day.....
