Sorry for the very late response

I used the boat extensively in France for the whole week taking out mine and my son's 3 rods several times per day

Batteries lasted most of the week so impressed there

The boat is very easy to control and very smooth

It's very fast so never opened it up fully as it's a big boat it does create a huge wake

I think I need to calibrate the auto pilot as it did zigzag a lot when using it

No issues with reliability all week; highly recommended

Any chance of more info on this as all ready to order one of these with derry and the chaps

Just unsure about the tolson on 640 or wait for the ray marine of some thing newer

Boats had - atom,wave runner, antece catamaran and currently black widow spider 2.

If they could sort out the range 150ish mts to make it longer I would definitely go with the raymarine

There's not a lot of these about so was set on an rt4 but like to keep it British and local if possible for maintainable etc etc

Plus I prefer the bigger boats for stability on the bigger lakes most of my fishing is 160yrds plus so a boat a real bonus.

Hi Scar,

In all honesty I haven't used much due to the way I'm fishing but it's so simple to use. One stick to steer, a lever on the sides to drop the hoppers.

It's bang on, the only down side in my eyes is the size. Yet if it's being used abroad then I think that will be a good thing

I have the RT4 myself and they are very good boats I want to get the raymarine myself but as before until it can achieve longer reading distances I'll wait.

I think it can be achieved (500yds) but you have to have the autopilot installed which I don't want so until carplounge or any other people come up with a little expensive mod I won't be buying it

Yes read loads on here about the autopilot but my main water is tight to pads at distance in small gaps through the pads just in.

Sort of can't get my head round the autopilot unless open water.

Also the jet system on the UK should help with pads, that's the plan anyway

I am leaning towards the MK3 Spyder due to the fact that the UKBB Enticer is massive and runs on jets.

I fish weedy waters on the continent and the Spyder has props and weed guards and I have seen it go through horrendous Canadian pond weed and not seem to be bothered by it at all, it is also a more manageable size.

Currently got the Mk2 Spyder, great bit of kit but the weed guards stick down a touch below the hull and pick up the pads, always got it back but sometimes trailing pads and stems, Anatec did the same, never a problem but felt it could be at some time.

Battery life is unbelievable too.

Heading towards jet power for this reason, time will tell.


Could just do with a mega thumbs up on the UK bespoke then im in, most probably with the tolson 640 for the range.

Picking two UK bespoke boats up this weekend the guys are at the Manchester show and bringing them up

Can see the wife already askin me what I'm messing around with......that's March sorted anyway☺☺

I know a friend that has got one of these boats if I'm totally honest they look the bollox
