looked the the bivvy in the carp show on sunday and it looked very poorly made. was screwed into wooden decking and still was very flimsey. never used one myself but going on what i saw id give this a miss and get a titan. poor mans titan!!!!

Hi guys.
I have sent my stealth bloxx back to Erics for a refund or exchange for another bivvy.
Reasons.
Front to short, can't peg it down properly
Velcro on peak not a good idea, not strong enough
Stitches came off when was trying to set the peak poles in place.
Generally feels it wasn't tested before being sold to us.
Gutted as really like the idea if done properly.

I went for a groundhog sf. great brolly but I won't be using it in the cold freeing weather again, soaked everything inside. it was fine in the heavy rains friday. glad I didn't buy the bloxx.

I have seen on this thread that someone had a bad experience with this bivvy and returned.
Has anybody else had this Stealth Bloxx, preferably a recent 2015 version and if it has had the issues highlighted rectified?
I love the look and ease of setup on the vids but the tackle shops around me only order in on request from JRC so can't simply go and look.
Or do i go with a TX 2G??

The groundsheet is the light weight type it's better than the thin tarpaulin type though . Its not the best of fitting groundsheet that's what I found when I had the tx 2g bivvy . I got army Andy to cut it about for me so it was a better fit and also got him to add elasticated pegging ring in the underneath of the groundsheet so it matched the pegging points on the bivvy

I love my tx 2g but had to amend door as it hangs really low when rolled up. As said groundsheet doesn't fit very well but the material of it is decent my only 2 negatives really

Wet inside in the groundhog from what? Condensation? I had one for 2 years never got condensation that dripped in it any time of year! I seem to be the only person that just never gets this infamous condensation..only time I've ever seen it was in a Wych wood hd Bivvy in summer I bought one put it up in garden and it was dripping like a shower within 5 minutes with out me even inside! That material was too think and didn't breathe went straight back to shop! Never had issue with groundhog tho

I have had the JRC Bloxx for several months now
Fallen in love with it. Can't fault it.
So quick to put up and I use it for a day shelter and bivvy
So far no problems

I used to have a JRC Sti two man and i loved it and used it in the very worst of weather and kept me dry and warm with the wrap, even on a holiday in France where it rained constantly hard for 7 Days, so i know and kind of trust JRC, so ive bought one of these Bloxx bivvies dispite the mixed opinions. But if you search hard enough there's a bad review about, just about every friggin bivvy there is....
