It does work as it reduced the infection rate and r number of the virus on each lockdown, it was never the plan for a lockdown to eradicate the virus.
It was done to help the hospitals manage the numbers, it's always been the plan until a vaccine arrives, the new variant is spreading faster so reduction of opportunity to transmit is the best defence until enough people are vaccinated.
It really isn't that tricky to comprehend and it certainly doesn't involve 5g and microchips.

Where have they announced this? All I've seen from them is they are waiting for the guidance/regulations to come today and then make an announcement once they've gone through it but both their Facebook page and website haven't been updated yet
