I asked a perfectly reasonable question which nobody answered other than with either “it's my money I will buy what I want” or we're abusive in their post as were you,so I simply responded.
That's a perfectly fair point about money it is their choice,but there may be somebody like me with a cheap ish net that does it's job absolutely fine but may want to upgrade to something better.
If there's a very good reason another net is better then I would buy one,but I haven't heard that reason yet.
I'm leaving it there now because I do not wish to offend or be accused of winding people up as that was not my wish.

Are they actually on general sale yet? They were only launched a couple of weeks ago, then shops need to place orders and actually receive them. I bet a few sets will be out on the bank this weekend for the first time.

For what it's worth, the largest Carp tackle vendor here in the U.S. was taking pre sale deposits, but were recently asked by Delkim no to.
I guess there's something delaying production.
Probably logistical, but a small part of me wonders if maybe Delkim are having a rethink, given some reactions to comments about them not guaranteeing the new alarms as fully waterproof ?
That one point, especially given the well known issues with the current alarms, is simply not acceptable in today's marketplace, at least that's my opinion on it.
That said, if they do indeed prove to be totally reliable, I will be sorely tempted !

One thing that's surprised me a little is the warranty. I might be wrong but I think I saw it as an optional three years.
Now I'd say that delkim, Neville's and the high end fox stuff would be considered by most to be the top end alarms. So I'd have thought that delkim should have enough faith in their new product to give a std three or even five year warranty. If they haven't then it suggests to me that they aren't the finished article.
