Right as bradders said asking questions is fine, but he makes his living from angling, Facebook comments can ruin a reputation, unless people post irrefutable proof of him doing it it's defamation and slander, we live in a modern world, social media posts especially ones like the ones I have seen are 100% admissible in court, it would be a class action lawsuit against multiple people, plus there is legal aid, plus the posts on here suggesting Cc Moore are involved they 100% have the money to bring a class action suit against multiple people, why do you think so few outright name the anglers?? Because they can get sued, you all bang on about people waking up to what's going on, but are blind to the fact the minute you post on a social media site or public forum you leave a digital footprint that is ridiculously easy to trace.

Legal aid is not applicable for Liable or deformation cases. Class actions are not permitted in the United Kingdom per se although we do have collective forms of litigation available such as “Group Litigation Orders”.

If people are using substances legal or illegal that induce involuntary feeding and pull fish in from all over the lake then it is a very sad day for angling this is just catch at any cost with most skill sets and sporting chance gone out of the window.
In my view if things like this are being used by anglers to deceive other anglers, earn money through sponsorship deals or prize money . promoting companies etc, then any such person or people covering it up would never have any respect of mine or the vast majority of anglers i have spoken to.

So CCmoore is going to stump up £150k+ to take out a lawsuit against multiple randoms on FFacebook for what gain? To force them to delete their comments
If there is no evidence any of them have done anything wrong, then this will all blow over in a few weeks or months. If they drag it though the courts it will stay relevant for years untill it's settled.
Honestly I have no doubt some peoole use illicit substances, but I wouldn't belive they are used at a high level, I just couldn't see it being done without people catching on and someone blabbing. People never keep their mouth shut.
But the fact a few people have been accused, and then suddenly threatened legal action ect has made me question that. It just seems weird to me. I think they were better off saying nothing rather than a scripted press release.
