NATO Nations closer to the conflict won't sit on their rifles for ever whilst this totally unnecessary suffering continues. Probably best to prepare to back them up.

I'd be at the polish border dressed as a middle aged Ukrainian housewife
To be honest I'd stand toe to toe with any human alive to fight my own battles, win or lose. But I'd never fight anybody in the name of the bit of land I happened to be dragged up on or a political fall out.

Trying to make some real difference
Not sure about the acoustics in the Albert Hall but I doubt they heard you in Ukraine
Targeting macron helps nobody. He's far from perfect but he at least appears to be a line of communication to putin unlike our shower...

Where do we keep putting them all Mal,we have one of the worst levels of homelessness.What is going on in the Ukraine is heartbreaking and it should not be happening,we have three hotels around here full of the last wave of refugees the UK took in.One of the hotels in Hanley has had nothing but trouble,rooms smashed up,fighting outside the police are there constantly putting more strain on and already stretched resource.

Poland are about to start giving their war planes to the Ukrainians... US are to replace Polands military aircraft, with brand new US planes.... How will Putin react to that? Clearly a large escalation is only just around the corner. Would Poland be next? What then?
China being pretty quiet in all of this. Would they back the Russians if war broke out? If the west let Putin conquer Ukraine, will China see it as an open invitation to invade Taiwan?

Poland isn't going through with handing over the Ukraine air force planes, they've (Poland) have called that one off. As for the US sending planes, that's still up in the air, pardon the pun.

I think it would be prudent to wait until all of this is over to see who is responsible for these civilian casualties. I say this as there's been numerous accusations of Russian and Ukrainian atrocities alike. What the truth of it actually all is, we may never find out the true culprits.
