In the fb comments he is now saying they fold back and not snap, retracting from his original claim. Surely this would have been highlighted by field testers, how can something so obvious be missed? If the subject of snagging had been put fwd during developement you would think he would have a hard and fast, confident answer to such and obvious question...but he hadnt... he fluffed it for all to see. Again, why are the field testers not highlighting these issues? Bonkers.

He kept on saying the arms will snap, but he couldn't snap them. A huge PR disaster imo, and tbh, expecting them to have a delayed release with modifications

Those arms need to be made of a plastic with an element of elasticity in for for them to spring and have the desired function, he could not snap them for this reason as it looks like theyve not put a weak point at the base either. Whoops.

The problem is he wants to be seen as the new lenny Middleton, ie the greatest fishing inventor etc, but in all his haiste, has completely forgotten fish safety in his hurry to get the item out. He's ****ed it right up and will have lost much of sny creditabilty he may have had as a result of this, and to even frantically do live podcasts to show its safe, then fail in his demonstration, shows how unthought the item is
