My missus has had covid for a week or so, she's just coming out of it, symptoms were relatively mild.
We live in the same house and I still haven't had it.
My daughter in law got it roughly the same time, my son hasn't caught it, they don't live with us.
Maybe for others but not highly transmissible for us?
We shall see

What I have been left with is ZERO sense of smell.
I stuck my hooter in a bottle of white spirit yesterday and nothing.

5 kids in my youngest daughters class tested positive just over a week ago. One of them had been in our house all day with my daughter and complained of a sore throat. Daughter has had to do tests for 8 days, all negative. All of us still negative. How we've still dodged it is beyond me.

I had the same a couple of weeks ago, daughter positive, me and the wife negative. Maybe, just maybe it was the vaccine that apparently doesnt work......

A friend at work lost his father at the tender age of 66 on Sunday after he'd slipped into a coma last Friday with no underlying problems, was fit and healthy - he refused to have the vaccine.
Very sad.

Lost my step mum Friday just gone. she went into hospital over xmas with phunomnia and then caught covid while in hospital. fully jabbed and boosted.

Sorry for your loss.
Wayne my mates father lived on a French speaking tropical island with a population of 400k north of St Lucia where vaccination rates were very low less than 40% for two doses.

8 days on my sense of smell is returning.
Still have a sore throat that can then make me cough.
Laughing always results in a cough now.
Right ear is still blocked.
I was very tired a lot, even had some afternoon naps. But I wonder if that's just because at can.
My wife has made a full recovery. But noticed that she's out of breath quicker when at the gym.
8 days on my sense of smell is returning.
Still have a sore throat that can then make me cough.

I've a few similar afters. The shortage of breath and prone to coughing is a bloody pain.
As for the blocked ear... just make sure you sit on your wife's left and it won't seem so bad...
