Off topic, but it's a bit more than a buzzword of the past few years. History of Kaizen goes back to the 50s in Japan. It then became widespread in the US in the late 80s. It is part of the Lean Six Sigma methodology which for 20 years plus has been the cornerstone of process improvement.

A friend showed me the new Korda landing net yesterday. Looked very impressive to me. Reverse taper carbon handle, similar to my CB. Very light. I was really impressed. Expensive, but then quality always is.
How would it not be good? It's designed by Damian Clarke. He's always been a great angler. He may not want to appear on the TV. There might not be anglers queuing up for an hour at carp shows for his signature. But he's always been the real heartbeat at Korda IMO. I've spoken about it many times on here recently... Perception... And reality. Massive things in carp fishing. For so many carp anglers, the public face is the hero. That is only natural.
I've seen it said so many times since Ali & Korda separated, that Korda would go downhill because of it. Pure silliness that is. I am sure Ali will do really well with his new business. He's always been great for marketing carp fishing.
I bet Korda sell tonnes of those nets.

It's as good as the dymag mk3 I own,I have compared them side by side.The korda is just as light and as rigid but it is easier get in and out of the spreader block

I slated it when i saw it at first Tony but after seeing one ive just bought one now i know they are bringing out a shallow net for it as the mesh it comes with is way to deep for me. Still dont like the loo of the kaizen rods mind.

The rods look very basic but they are ridiculously light,they could of put better rings on them for the money.I can't wait see the bivvy,I can't see what new design they can do but if the rumours are right they have teamed up with two big names to make it

is the net carbon like a match pole?? or it is carbon like a rod....for it to be as light as it is and float I'm thinking it's carbon like a match pole/ match landing net pole

Dosent get much better than those two, aqua are not what they used to be mind but ive had zero issues with my fast and light i bought a couple of years ago.

Not sure it hasnt arrived yet. I presume it floats due to more air being inside the pole due to it being quite thick but i could be wrong.

are aqua and trakker owned by the same people?? surely trakker are not going to be happy as its direct competition with them....if it was Chris manifold and aqua that would be understandable but even then manifolds spawned the idea of the tempest .

Carbon on net feels like on a rod but it is quite a thick pole,you can remove the spreader block to if you want to use it for anything else

Hope it dosent unscrew easily as that could be a pain when netting a fish if it started loosening and moving from side to side.. I didnt realise it came off.
