When the reality is the vaccinated and negative tested travellers have imported the variants into the country to begin with. I mean which is it, we are in a deadly pandemic where the well-being of the vulnerable is paramount.. or you need a fortnight in Benidorm?
Personally I think any travelling outside of work or family necessity, regardless of vaccine status, is more selfish than being unvaccinated and not attending pubs, clubs and events or boozy foreign jaunts.

Not smug about it, but if we turn it around, how would you feel if say a family member went into hospital and was treated by an unvaccinated doctor or nurse, then contracted covid from them and was in a bad way, bet you wouldn't be best pleased about it, especially now everyone has been offered the jab.
At the end of the day in a workplace environment under the health and safety act, everyone has a duty of care for themselves and the others around them, you could, and I'm not saying it is, but it could be seen as negligence

Yes they can, but are less likely to than someone who isnt vaccinated, that's the point you dont grasp, or accept, and as I've already tried to explain, it's very very important in a healthcare environment, as more people will have already weakened immune systems. It's very clear it spreads in an hospital environment. My missis, works in a doctors, she works ‘out the back' ringing people up and booking in their smear tests. She has had two jabs but doesn't want the third as they both made her quite ill and we have just come out of quarantine due to having covid where she had a headache for about 3 hours! She got a phone call on Tuesday from her bosses asking her to book in her third jab to which she replied that she wasn't going to have it only for them to tell her that she wouldn't have a job come April.
Working out the back making phones calls..........now no job.
Turning the tables........... whenever you go to hospital, wether in the past, now or the future there will always be a risk of infection. I will always be pro - choice. It is up to you what you want to put into your body's as they are YOURS not anyone else's.

But again she works in a place where there is more than likely to be people visiting who could well be quite ill, that's the issue, she maybe working 'out the back' but shes still there, no doubt walking around using toilets, making a cup of tea, or speaking to work colleagues.
Yes hospitals are risky places, and that's why the government want to mitigate those risks, and as I've already said it's where its reasonably practicable, and dont doctors and nurses have to be up to date on certain vaccines anyway to work??
