130 cm is Frontier X door height, 143 cm is Frontier Xd door height, highest point on the Xd and X are higher than the sizes in the spec's, standard frontier door height will probably be 120cm and highest point over 130

I've got the standard frontier, I love it, tiny footprint and plenty of room for me. I'm 6ft 2 and have a fox flatliner bed and it doesn't touch the sides as some people say.

I have the frontier X and have a Nash ss4 wide boy in there. Absolutely perfect fit and a bit longer than the solar wide. It doesn't touch anywhere mainly because the sides and back rise up 1 meter before they start to encroach on the height that's what make them feel bigger. Looked at the Nash hide camo Xl with the ss4 and it touched all the way around made my mind up to get the frontier.
It's absolutely rock solid when it's pegged down with the front on as well these people saying it's crap in wind clearly don't have one

Well I bit the bullet a couple weeks ago and decided to get a frontier X (still kept my tempest for the minute) used it for the last 3 days and I'm very impressed absolutely love it seems very well made, when I got home I decided to sell the tempest and I loved that thing just didn't need both

Never thought I'd say this but yes not taking anything away from the tempest because I loved mine but moving over I am very happy with it, will it last the rest of time like my tempest? I don't no but the early signs are very good mate

I had a Tempest and moved to an X. That X is good but I am still finding it far bulkier and heavier than the trakker. I miss the weight.

None, had tempests and changed torontier when first come out and its a phenomenal piece of kit. Been out in all weather's and no problems whatsoever. Practicality is far superior on the frontier

Anyone got a frontier x with the vapour peak and know if it can be packed away ok with it attached.

I have a frontier x and I keep the front zipped on but not the vapour peak, I think to keep both attached might be a bit much when packing away, making it a bit too bulky to get in the storage bag and for me it's easier to add the peak which takes seconds.

Got my new Fox Frontier X in last week. Seems like a well thought out bivvy and good materials. It's completely black inside, even in sunny weather.
One thing that bugs me (without even using it): Fox has chosen to use plastic zips for the front infill panel, but metal ones for the windows. Even the Tempest brolly has metal zips all around!

See a lot have managed to break block on these, thread on chasing chunks, fox now stock spares for repair.
