I was just wondering if there are any particular supermarket items people tend to put with there particles.

i know a lot of people use fish sauces and chilli and garlic sauces in spod mixes.

i usually add pink rock salt to freshly cooked maize (mainly for preservation) and i use a lot of garlic in my hemp. was just after abit of inspiration .

Best thing to add is nothing -not a smart ar%e reply like half on here. Just dont waste your money - Unless you really test it then the pulling and holding power is the particle itself.

I usually add a cheap tin of tuna in oil, chilli flakes and salt to my mixes

Have made glugs in the past with the same ingredients (boiled down along with glycerine) that proved fairly successful, for me anyway

Tbh, I have no idea if they add to the attraction but I've caught with it and until I stop catching them I'll probably carry on with it.

add dark brown sugar to my tigers. seen a few people use a tin of condensed milk to soak when cooked so might be a cheap option. no idea on their effectiveness......yet

Ive also seen people use condensed milk. Ive seen it done with groats and that seems to work well. Ive never tryed the brown sugar tbh at what sort of quantity are you adding it per kilo? Ive been thinking about trying golden syrup with maize but havnt got around to it yet. I think i read about it somewhere but cant recall where.

did half a kilo of dry tigers and put about half a cup, maybe a bit less, of sugar into it. like i said not sure if it made a difference. going to start using them more so would be trying plain and sugared ones side by side hopefully and see

Golden syrup with some rock salt, maize the Terry Hearn way.
I use as much brown sugar as I can dissolve in the water with the tigers. It'll really help get you the gloopy afterwards that's for sure. Whether it's made a difference I don't know but certainly tastes nice!

Get yourself to the asian market and have a play.

Be a plethora of fish sauces, spicy products, dried shrimp etc so may not be a liquid you find but infact another component to your mix
