Solar for me , had an avid benchmark and the legs fell off twice

I got an Avid Sleep system and sent it back was so uncomfortable, even the wide one was too narrow and you can't even move in it

I need something that's not going to do my back in more than it already is ..

Iv been looking at beds aswell . I thought the avid seemed really comfy . I was just disappointed with the legs. The mechanism for the adjustable legs was useless . When I folded up the bed the legs were loose and were falling out . Shame because I really liked the bed

Currently looking at the mf60's and will also take a look at the fox flatliners . The solars are rated very good but I really want memory foam

Had both and the avid is crap in comparison. The solar is in a different league. I have the wide version, very big and heavy but worth it.

Cheapest online for the standard solar is £379 .

Anyone know anywhere doing them a bit cheaper ?

If your seriously thinking about the Solar bed, make sure you take a look at their CH08 model. Granted its not a sleep system but you can pick the bed up for £170 if you shop around, and that leaves you with plenty of cash left over to get a decent 5 season bag of your choice.
Personal choice I know but I actually think the CH08 is a more comfortable bed than the all singing and dancing C-Tech due to having a slightly different mattress.
