Are they as good as each other? Is it just down to looks ? Looking at premier Ali range summit or jag?

I've read on here that the summit bankwear has been known to rust, not sure how bad or what items etc
I'm a jag slag but prolite black not stainless...jags customer service is spot on, cannot comment on summits sorry.

When i last looked for bankware, i personally didnt think that the summit stuff came close to the jag, or solar stuff

I'm currently using a Summit pod and have been for 2 years,
Also got 4 of the mini pod legs, and the combination is spot on for the type of banks I fish from, which are a long long way from level and manicured. Build quality is superb. So far the best of 3 pods I've had 'recently'..
Before that had a Defiant 2 rod pod in Ti.. A thing of beauty, so well put together, light as a feather. Convinced myself it was too light and sold on.
Never used the Jag pod, but from what I've seen is top notch. Don't think you'll go wrong whichever pod you eventually get.

Have a look at the p1 buzz bars, anti twist bank sticks and a stabiliser. Its what i ise for 90% of my fishing now.
Used to use singles but was always such a nightmare trying to get 6 sticks in the ground in various places.
A diffing stick is a god send aswell so consider one of those

My personal choice is Jag, but I've also happily used the Solar gear in the past without any issues. Lots on here also really rate Defiant as well. I think if you pick either of these three you wont go far wrong.

If you have narrowed it down to Jag and Summit then imo it's Jag every time.Its better made and Jags customer service is one of the best in the business

Agree. Jag is quality. Very happy with the Solar gear I've recently bought and got a Trident Fantail on order from MPS following the rave reviews Keith's gear gets on here

I have used a lot of Jag bits and always been faultless. Recently picked up some buzz bars from Custom Angling Solutions and have to save I have been very impressed. Could be another company to consider.

Just seen the price of the p1 buzz bars now, £63 for the fronts. I seem to remember paying just over £40 for mine. I know everything has gone up, but that's a 50% price increase. That's crazy
