I'm going fishing on Friday. It will be my first time using pop ups. I have sticky manilla the white ones pop ups. If I soaked them over night in a liquid/attractant, will they still float or does it effect the buoyancy?

Yes, soaking will make them less buoyant. Always check before casting out.

If they are anything like the Sticky white ones I have they won't pop-up unless you drill them out and insert cork.

You've got an obsession with white sticky pop ups
As per the other threads they arent boyant at all. Adding a liquid to them will make them less boyant
Do yourself a favour and fish them as a wafter or just get a better pop up from the list in your other threads

I don't have money to burn. I bought them because I've had normal sticky manilla boilies and the reviews for them on angling direct as a "pop up" is very good. I'm "obsessed" with white pop ups because I've seen 5 different videos stating they are best to use in spring fishing...

Ok, well at least 3 threads later you now know better
White is a good spring colour as is yellow, orange and pink. Dont read too much into these things. It might have been better if you bought a tub of more than one colour, that way you could decide for yourself
Genuinely, you could have saved yourself the cost of the pot of pop ups by searching on here before you bought them instead of buying them and trying to convince yourself that they are any good. Sticky pop ups make good wafters. I actually did ok in a bcac on b1 using them as wafters in solid bags. Pop some cork in them if you want them to pop up

For buoyancy, sticky are very hit and miss.

Do I just make a hole in the middle of a boilie and stick a bit of Cork in it's? Is this what I need? KOTP Cork sticks 6mm x 50mm 10 pcs - carp fishing tackle https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B071DS79DM/ref=cm_sw_r_apan_glt_i_GNRJDV8RCQ2FBRVZFV9X
*EDIT* Ignore that, sadly it wont come in time for my fishing session on Friday ☹

Grab yourself a 6mm drill as well. Korda, RM etc. do them
Or any other 6mm drill
Makes it much more neat and easy

Just take your white stickies unsoaked and don't go bigger than a size 6 on a simple rig and enjoy your fishing.
If white doesn't work this time try yellow and or pink next time.
If you're going to leave a pop up out for 24 hours or more you need to think a bit more. If you are casting around in the spring you don't.

Don't worry about cork for now. Just use a suitable hook size to suit.

Just test them before you go or in the margin on the day pal. If it's on the multi rig there's only really the hook weight.

Just go somewhere nice and easy, enjoy yourself and stop worrying about white pop ups. Good luck.
