Has anyone got any experience of the vass fleece lined boots with the Velcro strap?
I'm not overly worried if they aren't the warmest boots as I manly want them for when I walking about spinning etc. I've got a pair of the Skeetex wellies but they give me savage blisters and are only any good for more static fishing. Plus I seem to go through the liners every couple of years.

They are comfortable and warm enough. Make sure you order 1 size if not 2 sizes bigger then your standard shoe size. as they are mega small per size

I agree with this one, best to go and try them on they come very small, also my right one is seems smaller then the left.

I have them there good fully waterproof also what I like is I don't feel like a deep sea diver in them I don't feel I have boots on there comfortable just order a size bigger

I have them and also have the skeetex moon boots with the removable inner.
The vass are so much more comfortable and lighter as they're obviously a different type of boot but I'd say they let more cold in through the sole especially if your sitting static compared to the skeetex. I only notice this on days where I'm not walking about much and it's really cold.
Overall I'm happy I bought the Vass but usually if the temps drop anywhere near 0 I still opt for the skeetex

I've had a set for about 5 years. They're ok, the fleece line in mine seems to start ripping and coming away from the sole pretty quick. I probably wouldn't used them in the deepest of winters without another lining in them as I don't think they're the warmest, but then again I suffer with bad circulation so might well be wrong!

Had mine for over two years now and no issues did order a size larger so I can use good quality walking socks to keep my feet warm works well for me. But check sizing.... I have used Skeetex again no issues for me.

Had a pair of these for a couple of years now and love them. very light weight and easy to slip on and off getting out the bag at night etc. I also use them when i go out sea fishing from the beach. they are spot in. As others have said go a size up or better still go try some on it a tackle shop if u can. Very decent boots.

There ok fully waterproof etc but not the warmest decent socks help a bit.

Need help in very cold conditions due to thin soles. Buy them big and fit good quality sheepskin insoles. I found this a game changer for comfort and warmth
I got them and find them brilliant, I have had mine for a couple years now and they are perfect for what I wanted, when it gets really cold I just put on some merino wool socks on underneath and I don't feel nothing
Thank you all for taking the time to reply. I'm going to buy a pair but I think I will actually go to a shop and try them on rather than an internet purchase given what's been said about sizing.

I would do that mate I've got the same size as I normally am and they are fine but others have said they ain't correct to the sizing so better to just go in bud
