couple of things I dont like about it seems you cant use a big bottle with it if you wanted too ?
and my biggest gripe for that kind money I would want a BBQ that I could adjust the height of the food
i think there are much better buys around in that price bracket IMHO
But some might like it ?

I thought similar Gerry. Got to be something better for similar money (or less know ridgemonkey). I'm sure plenty of the fans will buy them though.

Agree not the cheapest, but like the fact you can choose between gas or charcoal as some lakes don't allow charcoal bbqs.

Think the webber go anywhere gas would be a good buy. I have the primus one, that's decent enough- csn dishwasher the plate and drip tray. Catch on the lid is rubbish.

Yeah I get that but personally I'd rather have a gas cooker and a charcoal BBQ and just take whatever you can use. As Gerry mentioned being able to adjust the height of your food on a BBQ is important and you can't do it on that. Probably work out cheaper to buy seperate too. I'm guessing there would be a bit of maintenance required too. Ash and gas jets don't mix too well I don't think

I have a bit of a collection Cobb air 2 .Cadac`s Webber Son of Hibachi with snuff out bag etc
and found out years ago to properly cook food on a BBQ it must have a lid thats essential if you want lovely juicy properly cooked burgers or steaks
otherwise you have a very hot source underneath and especially on a cold windy day the top being chilled and you end up constantly flipping the outside getting over cooked and dried out the centre not getting cooked properly for gas on sessions either the Cadac safari chef got low pressure bottle version and high pressure screw on gas versions or for PROPER roast dinners the Mighty Cobb Air
but my all time favourite charcoal bbq sadly hard to find now is this one think it was £15 about 14 years ago its got the lot adjustable vents in the base and lid height adjustment built in the lid

forgot to say I saw some German lads that had a BBQ with no height adjustment and they had made a taller rack that went over half of the cooking area found a picture they must of copied the idea

Just the job that
Just the job that
yes almost the same mine has adjustable vents each end under the handle cant see them on this one but other than that its bang on ! I think I will sell my Son of hibachi and snuff out bag and buy one as a spare as my 14 year old one the new ness has worn off
There was a Swedish guy or from around that area that made a great bbq that collapsed into itself
I saw it on here but can't remember who it was or the name of it
He stopped selling due to covid or something like, that and I thought I would get one if ever I saw it again

Prefer the ridgemonkey over this style, due to the pack down size. It's literally an inch thick when collapsed
