Hi all,
Looking at getting a new bed and bag or, if the budget allows, then a system.
Budget is around 300.
Im a side sleeper and fish mostly 24,48 hour sessions.
Currently looking at the trakker rlx 6 superlite and Gardner duvet compact.
Or stretching a bit more to try and get the existing avid benchmark sleep system if I can find one.
Are there any better options out there? Currently using an old JRC bed so anything will be an improvement !

I have recently bought the trakker rlx superlight, and the cyprinous 5 season bag. I havent tried loads of other beds, but to me, it's as comfy as I could ever want. The bag is insainly warm.

How does the cyprinus bag attach to the bed ?
I'm currently using a cyprinus 4 season bag now and I'm not overly impressed by the zips and the straps that are stitched onto it to keep it to the bed are too thin.

You'll get an RLX 6 Superlight and Trakker 365 bag for your 300 budget I reckon. Nice combo. I have the same, comfy & plenty warm enough
Edit - I did look at the Gardner carp duvets but there's not much material underneath you, it's all on top. Didn't like that part of it.

That is deffinetly a good option I didn't think about.
I would have to sacrifice the DPM for that but that's just choosing style over substance, I suppose
I do like the look of that trakker 365 bag now though having had looked at it.

365 sleeping bag - total fishing tackle - £150 black Friday.

I second that regarding the gardener one, even asked if they sell a separate inner just for the bottom. Sadly they don't

Currently using Gardner carp duvet compact with a self inflating mattress on a very old Wychwood tactical bedchair,,
The sim underneath you makes a BIG difference and the Bag is Too hot with the inner leaf !!
I've removed mine,, you could sleep ontop of this too though ???
With a sim you may find you don't need a new chair ??

I've ordered the trakker 365 bag to come Thursday. I thought for the extra 30 pound in the black Friday sale it was the better option.
I'm going to go to angling direct and have a look at the trakker superlite bedchair before I purchase it as I'm still not 100 percent convinced that theres enough padding and I may look at getting an rlx 8 leg or avid benchmark bed on its own instead.
I do use a sim with my current bed and it does help but the bed itself is on its way out. The legs are knackered and it won't fold with a five season bag which I would prefer. Cheers though.

Fingers crossed! Was supposed to come today but as usual with deliveries, it is late.
Decided to wait until the northwest angling show until I get a bed, that way I can test a few out and decide which one is best for me. Also gives me a couple more months to increase the budget !

I've got the Trakker 365 bag which I've had for around 15 plus years now. The inner system is kept in place by toggles. Are the newer 365 bags any different to this as wondering if it's even worth upgrading to the newer bag. My 365 bag is still in excellent condition as I do look after my gear.

i have the upgraded As 365 4.2kg (after a long search found a new one) i returned the current 365 because 6.2kg was too heavy for me
As 365 is almost impossible to get would never buy the current 365 again but the Fotis instead,
or in your case keep your old 365.
