I'm not sure that seeing this will make kids gay. Or bi, or whatever.
They are going to turn out how they're going to turn out, and there's not a lot that us as parents can do about it. We can, however, make them feel accepted and relaxed whoever they might end up fancying.

I was thinking more the sexualisation. I don't recall many heterosexual physical relationships being illustrated... that's why manga took off with odd blokes, the cartoon Bristol cities.

Also the first gay football referee, not the first referee. Nigel Owens may also not be the first but is the best and most respected referee in rugby.. I think your example says more about football than wider society.
