when doing a night in the bivvy it seems to me that the space over the end of the bedchair could be put to good use but nothing that would get in the way if/when you get a run, if there was something like the picture below that was lightweight and folds flat and adjustable in height....

Not a bad idea... Dont worry will be probably out in a year! For a change it would be something practical instead of all the **** and copies that companies put out... if fixed part is on the side of bivvy wall (curved so it fists majority of bivvies) it wouldnt be in a way to get out of bedchair at all... really shouldnt be a problem to make something lightweight in green plastic that can be taken apart and fold in bedchair on the end... It has got more to do with camping than fishing but few much worse things out there if you ask me...

Depends what type of tent you are using for me James. Space at the end of the bedchair is everything for me. If my bag touches the side i find it annoying

Maybe something like that, but instead of floor mounting, have it so it attaches to the bedchair frame?

Can't believe nobody has made a bivvy that attaches to the bedchair frame, or a barrow that converts into a bed and bivvy, trailer tent style

There is a bivvy that attaches to the bed, and there is also a barrow that converts into a bed chair. Neither of which sold very well.

Prologic, folded down and stored in the bedchair, SO, if you got up for a slash on a windy night you could come back to an empty swim

There's bivvy shelter products that fit to around and over the bedchair for years, I believe jrc had a version.
