I've got the Nash bushwhacker and like the option of being able to add extra poles and the spoon with the floats either side make it very stable.

No it's a push fit with a small spring loaded locking button the same as the poles.

Bought two Nash Bushwhacker systems as there is a Bait Boat Ban on my waters. Currently at 28.5m but can add extra sections for about a tenner per 1.5m when they eventually come back in stock. I like the Nash One because of the extra sections that can be bought, the floats that give stability on the spoon and the fact that you can attach a deeper chirp and a fishspy to it.
Not used it yet but really impressed with the quality. Small gripe was had to buy the HD carry bag at another £40 but I'm very happy with what I have seen of it.

Local Tackle shop, he got 30 in and me and a mate had 12 each and the others didn't hang around long.

I'm going to have a crack at a DIY job. Won't cost that much for materials. Rather do that than spend a fair whack and find i don't use it.

I've got 30 extensions in total so I can go out 45m which is about as far as I think you can take it before it turns into a snake
Completely useless in any wind though once you go past about 30m .... the Only thing I've had to do is remember what side I've put the lead and line in ... It's a right p*ss off to twist it the wrong way and see the line wrapped around it !!

I made myself a 20m pole for £50. (£18 of that was for the Cygnet Bait Spoon and Pole Float) Works a treat.

I used 20mm conduit from ScrewFix.
I also bought male and female connectors then used welding solvent to glue them on each end of each section. So each section has to be screwed together when shipping out rather than pushed on, but I havent found it an issue at all to be honest.
For piece of mind (although not really needed) I plugged each end of the conduit with foam to create an air tight cavity in each section.
Used an old brass landing net pole threaded connector for the end bit to screw the baiting spoon into, glueed that in with some marine weld.
So all the components including the two types of glue came to under £50. Only thng you need to 'acquire' is the threaded connector
All the sections sit neatly on the outside of Korda Compaq rod holdall and I just chuck the spoon and float in my bait bag.
Quite a bit of dosh saved which I can spend on bait to put into the bait spoon
