Vintagecarpfishingtackle.com..they buy and sell older, retro gear..
And
Vintagefishingtackle.co.uk
Hope that helps..
Interestingly, a friend of mine makes ALL his own tackle other than reels,banksticks,rods,floats...its all good stuff, plus he can fish a bit as well.

If it's in pristine condition I'd reckon around £60-80 tops. You may get a bit more if someone is looking to pair up with one they already have.If you had a set of 2 or 3 you could possibly have got around £100 each.

Does that make my rod more valuable then?can't be many that are as new.i think the bag still has the label on it,,!
Seriously though is it worth listing it inthe classifieds on here?it would make a superb floater rod.id use it myself but love my shimano twin power 2.lb for surface fishing(even bought a spare in case I had an accident with it!)

It's only as valuable as what someone wants to pay. Not rare really,to get top whack for it you need to find someone who wants one to pair up.

Yep the nets were really good , rods not so, i had all sorts ss, dyneema , medium range, long range , all utter crap compared to todays offerings , someone will buy it but you wont get a great deal of money for it.
