I have had my eye on on the trakker 3 piece suit but I was wondering if there was anything else on the market which people would recommend?
I would consider just a Jacket option...

you can buy the Jacket or the trousers separately........ BUT !
shop around you can get this suit for a steal price as its now discontinued IMHO it beats the hell out of suits costing double its the Prologic HighGrade Thermo Suit between 80 to 90 quid used to be double that

The new esp 25 k jacket is good they say it's the most waterproof coat in fishing not cheap but being esp it's great gear I have two that I've had over 20 years I had a prologic suit which I didn't like sold it

Just got the bib n brace // jacket - so warm and comfy. I love it. Highly recommended.

I got the Trakker 3 piece core from bay on Boxing day £115 including delivery, I think its brilliant and does what its supposed to, very comfortable, warm and kept the wind out, I went for a walk around local lake last week when it was freezing, I had to remove the fleece as wasn't needed, jacket is very well padded, The bib and brace fits lovely, plenty of room, and the knees are well protected, much better than the last Trakker winter outfit, which I had for years, if I bought again I'd buy the 2 piece for £89 on the bay, as I dont need fleece, plus 3 piece cheapest I could find today is £125, so £35 for a fleece

snugpak sasquatch coat and salopets for me, I've still got my prologic coat and salopets but much prefer the snugpak.

Hi.
Been looking at your recommendation for a while. Just uncertain about size to order I am just over 6ft, short legs long body and arms. Not a big build. Been looking at large.

The prologic bib brace is warm but heavy very bulky hard if you have to walk far in it it's like walking around with a sleeping bag on the jacket I didn't feel very warm in it tbh prologic is budget brand depends how much you want to pay it's ok for price wouldn't want to pay anymore

Thanks. Understand exactly what you mean. I do like the Trakker suite. Just worn my Trakker stuff out and starting to look for a replacement

I'm xl in all clothing, and xl in prologic fits fine.

as normal your talking complete cobblers clearly your an idiot for stating one of the best clothing brands as BUDGET
this suit is now discontinued hence the massive price reductions of around 50% of its original selling price initially
apparently this suit was produced for the Norwegian fishing industry and is rebadged under the Prologic and Svensen brands
seems everything I recommend you CLAIM to have owned and is budget or cheaply made as you put it like the excellent Wychwood X-light bedchair the moment I mention it ?

Can highly recommend the snugpack fj9 jacket,. Im 6ft 4 big build long arms and 2xl fits perfect allowing for clothing underneath. Seriously comfortable and warm. I dont wear clothing like this while walking around, just put it on once set up and its like being in a warm cloud
Will have to invest in the snugpac trousers, got the cheap military omsoftue trousers and they are not as warm s I would like.

the snugpak bib and brace isnt waterproof though mate. it warm and water resistant and dries out quick but dont get it soaking wet ....

I bought one last week in XL and its bloody huge, sent it back and waiting for the large size , Ive got snugpak bib and brace for in the bivvy but wanted something waterproof and warm for day fishing if i ever get out
