Lockdown ends on 31st March although they hope to start relaxing certain things throughout March.....I'm sure Jamie Cook and the AT have barged their way to the front of the queue so get your bivvies ready for the stampede....

much prefer the days only, no weekend campers, less people can be bothered, quieter banks, therefore more fish.

Think it could be as early as 15th feb like already said. Soon as they relax outdoor activities and time spent outdoors / local travel ect it should be good to go again.

Agreed, they can keep the night fishing ban in place all year - banks are quieter, fishing has been better and I don't have to compete with the time bandits hogging the best swims at weekends. Just want to see the travel restrictions lifted, not that people are taking much notice of that - there have been several people on the two waters I am fishing right now who have travelled well over 50 miles for the day... up to them if they want to risk a fine I guess.

As soon as possible hopefully I don't like day session fishing never have and never will, I am a very active angler and stay very mobile but I when I go fishing I like to go for 2/3 days at least maybe even longer. I just don't do day sessions simple as that and it's doing my head in because this is normally my favourite time of year for it aswell
But we have to take into account what's going on so would be a bit stupid to start letting everyone back to normal to soon
