What are people's thoughts on leadcore v fluorocarbon leaders . Pros and cons for both , thanks .

Leadcore - much more durable, sinks better
Fluoro - less visible, safer and better to cast

The both sucks.
Even though fluorocarbon leaders are safer than leadcore it's still an unsafe system, just get Tungsten Tubing

Well, Talk with carp lake owner and ask how many carps they see every year swimming around with fluorocarbon leaders.
With line break (not rig) it is not that they can just drop the fluorocarbon leaders.

I use 20lb x line main line with ESP leadcore leaders

I don't like leadcore but when I do use a leader I do use fox submerge camo 30lb lead free leader much better and safer

I like the idea of tubing, but how do you go about a helicopter rig, specifically the top bead?
I can only see that using a clip type rig you're able to use tubing effectively, yet it's far less safer than a helicopter rig.

Yep. Should be banned. Really, really dangerous for fish simply due to the dynamics of not having anything heavy on one end so they can slip off the other snapped end.
