Any users on here? When this is pegged down is it really rigid enough to be fishing locked up? Or can the bars spin round on a take?
I have the same question too 
judging by the jag black banksticks i reckon they would spin especially as the pod uses the old style non-lever lock for the uprights...

No it doesn't. They are all levers on the micro pod. I've seen it used for hit and hold snag fishing many times and never seen them spin.

Oh right, must be old pics online then... Wonder why the first ones didn't have the lever locks for uprights but did for the legs etc
Edit: are you sure... cos even the pics on jag's website don't show lever locks on the uprights? Not even for the spare main bar or the pod pics themselves....

My nano does not have levers on uprights, just the legs. In answer to question they do not suffer from twisting. I have had some savage takes on it too.

I've checked with the factory. As I suspected they are all levers. Thumb screw bank sticks aren't made anymore as far as I know. The uprights are stagebites and they have all gone over to levers since the new sizes were released so I can't see why the pods would use old style components.

this must be a very new thing then, because the pod they just actioned off in August for charity below was supposed to be the latest all-singing all-dancing version but that still had the thumbscrew type levers at either end.

I also thought the torque bit could be used to tighten up those thumbscrews but that wouldn't be possible now with levers instead.
Saves me buying one for a while then anyway, I'll wait for the new version.

What's the deal with the feet that you use for pegging down and for the screws, do the feet come off so they have the pointy bankstick ends instead? I'll get chucked in if I screw anything in to the wood on my lake, owner is a bit protective of the woodwork

the big black thumb screw on the end that holds the uprights is being changed to thumb lever???

The thumb screw isn't on the upright, its on the three part horizontal, at each end. It can be tightened super tight with the included hex head tool.

For a simple pod it isn't half complicated
I don't think they could change to lever lock as like you said, the hex screws can be used to tighten these up and that wouldn't work with the levers as far as I can see.

there won't be a new version,all the legs come with levers but the big black thumb screws at each end will still be there.

That sounds much more feasible to me... and it's what I thought until told otherwise.
Do you know about the feet for the pegs and screws, are those detachable so you can have pointy bits as feet instead?

No but you can use 4 small bank sticks if you like but that puts the cost up a lot.
