I'm finding it difficult to find a descent tasting coffee at the moment. I normally have kenco or carte noirre coffee or similar. But just seem to taste like hot water latery. Did try some lidli coffee but seemed to have a burnt taste to it. So what coffee are you guys drinking on the bank which it in a jar ?

Never heard of the Aeropress? I just take a small cafetera and a bag of ground beans. Can't stand instant coffee.

Have been looking at a cheap cafeteria one but ones I've looked at have been glass and I'd worry if break it. Also I've had to stop the sugar as I'm a diabetic and I do miss sugar in my coffee

The thread should've been locked after yonny's post, no doubt the aeropress is the answer.
Makes better coffee than a cafetière and is easier to use/clean/transport too.
Even a bad fresh coffee is better than a fancy instant, that's why they put finely ground real beans in the expensive ones because the aroma can't be duplicated with freeze dried crap

The Nanopresso is great too.
Got a Nespresso capsule adaptor for mine as that's what I use at home. Whole thing is not much bigger than a mug.

Not sure we're talking about the same thing mate. I've never seen a glass cafetera they're metal and screw together.

Probably mistook it for cafetiere, I don't see/hear cafetera used much, usually called a Moka pot or espresso maker
I prefer the coffee from them to coffee out of the aeropress, cheaper too

I use a company called "Yorkshire Tea" that puts portions in little bags for me, packs it in boxes and drops it off at my local supermarket for me to pick up as and when
Nice to have a little coffee now and then though, especially if you've a long drive home and you fluked a fish in the night

Take a look at the Bodum travel coffee cup.
It's literally a cafetiere inside a cup, put your filter coffee in and press down no faffing about.
