Looking for a compact life jacket, my new water has boats that you can use but sensibly you must have a life jacket before using them so I'm after something compact but that will do the job adequately. I'm 6”3 and 18 stone so it needs to be up to the job.

Crewsaver Crewfit Sport is decent had one for years. Compact and has all the safety features.

Defo use a crutch strap.
Lifesaver is a good brand for sure.
We used them at work .
Always store it somewhere dry I like them with a zip to hold it together as it seams to reduce moisture preventing a preliminary release.

edit I would go for at least 165N ‘and Cylinder safe' to keep the cylinder tightly screwed in and

You are not a million miles away from Barnet marine They are Based in WGC I believe
could pay them a visit They would probably size you up or give you some lifesaving valuable advise

mullion compact.quality life jacket. .wear it all day when im at sea.really comfortable and being compact doesnt get in the way like most gas inflation ones

I've got one and it definitely has a crotch strap
just checked and whilst it's not shown in the advert pic if you look at product info it confirms it has a crotch strap

That was the Fox KS lifejacket, brought out inthe aftermath of Keith Sellick's death by drowning whilst involved in fishing.
A certain amount of the profit went towards charity. I've not heard anything for maybe 15 years or thereabouts, and have never seen them advertised during that time I presumed it had faded out of memory and production.
I may be wrong, and indeed would be delighted to be proved wrong

If I remember it was only 150n and nearly twice the price of same spec non carp tax ones
