Hi Everyone, just to let you know our website is offline today for maintenance while we try to increase our server capacity, we must thank all of you for your support throgh these troubled times and can only apologise to those of you that may have got frustrated last night whilst the site was struggling to cope with the traffic. Normal service will resume soon.

Website and email update, the work we are doing is taking much longer than planned, we will get the site back up ASAP, we can't reply to any emails at present but will do ASAP. All orders you have placed are being shipped as normal. If you have an urgent query about an order you have placed please give us a ring tomorrow or Monday on 01992 462044.

Anyone know what is happening with the site? I know they had been conducting maintenance but went to have a look on it yesterday and it was working fine. Went to place an order a couple of hours later and it was closed again. No update on their Facebook page.
Can only imagine it is a serous problem as can imagine the amount of sales they are losing with us being allowed to fish again.

I ordered last week, got a message to say out of stock two day later, refund came through, but very strange the site is down!

Hope nothing too bad happening. They are normally so reliable. Never had the situation where I have ordered something then got email to say it wasn't in stock.

We are living in strange times and the suppliers are running low on items which means the shops are aswell.
Even those usual shops that you can expect to buy from with loads on the shelves are struggling
Don't read anymore into it than that is my opinion possibly easier to take the site down for maintenance rather than take money under false pretences knowing they haven't got the stock
I would say try a few of the lesser well known shops to find what you are looking for they might just have it in stock

Was considering it. Got about 300 quids worth of stuff to order. Ideally for next weekend which is why I wanted to use Johnson Ross as they have been so reliable in the past.

I normally use them bu if they haven't got it they can't sell it
