I'm thinking of getting a 2 man bivvy to take my boy/girl fishing with me, as well as trips to France.
I want twin skin, Windows front/rear in both bivvy and overwrap for air flow.
I like the look of the tempest 200 but it's silly money. Maybe to big?
And the Avid HQ looks quality.
Any other recommendations? I do have a tempest 100t but they don't do an extension for that.

For the same reason as you was in the market for one of these a few weeks back. Ended up buying a Trakker Slx plus and am very happy with my choice. It is very large but easy enough to put up and away. Obviously not used it properly yet to give a full review but in terms of quality and value I am happy with my choice. I was also looking at the Cyprinus offerings and the Fox EOS TT

I got the cyprinus base HQ 2 man and whilst it's a great bivvy I wouldn't exactly class it as a spacious 2 man and not even with the overwrap on it either.

Definitely what others have said the slx is a great bivvy and has plenty of space. If the misses comes with me for a couple of nights there's more than enough room and she brings everything including the kitchen sink

I'm think along the same lines about a 2 man bivvy to take my lad and like the look of the SLX.
Is there much difference in size between the 2 man and the plus?
Is the 2 man plenty bi enough for 2 bedchairs?

I went for the plus as was bizarrely a little cheaper. More than enough space in this and would recommend for comfort and convenience with a kid

I've been thinking same - but more for height than internal space. I get proper "bivvy back" after a couple of days due to bending down to get in and out of my current bivvy.
Been looking at the Trakker Superdome, which is a monster, but only thinking about using it in France. Obviously, that outlay is not being made until after this bloody awful situation.
