I recently purchased the second edition to complete the trio. I sourced mine from eBay but at the same time saw that there was a first edition on auction with bids at £90 with several days to go.

My carp gear hasn't seen the light of day in over a year as I returned to fly fishing so can someone tell me why such a high price?

I am almost tempted to sell mine purchase a new lens for my Olympus!

Around £125 or so I think. have a look on finished prices on ebay.

There's one ending on eBay in 20 minutes! I'm watching out of curiosity as I have a copy myself. How do you think prices might increase in the future if they are already worth so much?!

Because they have stopped being made and desirable, same as any other book. Dave lanes first book goes for silly money as does pecks

One went on a tackle forum a while back for £240!

I saw a tatty one go for nearly £100 on ebay.

Ss2 is quite sought after as well, but ss3 less so, in fact I think you can still get copies new.

You can still get SS2 for £25, might be worth buying a copy! I have the other two, but I doubt they will appreciate in value quite the same.

got given a signed copy of Peck's book.
its not bad but not as good as some others i have read.

reminds me a mate has my #1 of sub...

Almost time to get my #1 on the bay by the look of it

I thought Pecks was surprisingly brilliant. Brutally honest, takes balls to write like that imo.
