I just read an interesting post on FB, about boycotting anything manufactured in China.
Don't get me wrong, I'd love to do this, but know that it is extremely unrealistic, as probably 95% of anything we buy is made there. But out of interest, can we compile a list of companies and items that are actually made elsewhere?

I'm assuming to make a stand because of them being the source of the coronavirus. I'm sure the Chinese government are quaking in their boots about a boycott on carp tackle 😂

How about some empathy for a country that has lost 1000s of people to the virus?
"But they eat bats and dogs n stuff" I hear you cry.
People really should do some reading before calling for quite frankly daft calls on boycotting carp tackle🤣
Try reading about communism and the reasons as to why a small minority of Chinese people eat certain exotic animals.
Fun fact - Large areas and amounts of people in India look at eating beef as disgusting and completely imoral.
There's over a billion people in China, are you coming to boycot every single company? What about vegetarians who have companies? What about other countries that have similar markets?
Are we also boycotting African companies incase we get Ebola?
What about Chinese people in the UK? No takeaways for you then.
Admittedly, Chinese authorities need to learn from this and look into practices at markets like the one in Wuhan, but come on. Boycotting all Chinese made goods? That's probably as impossible as it is pointless.

Because manufacturers globally have gone China for their manufacture to increase profit margins putting the workforce they employed to build the brand out of wor but making themselves and /shareholders wealthy. In the meantime making China the richest most powerful country on earth, if not now it very soon will be. Why any government would want to depend on a communist regime for the manufacture of so much of its consumer needs is rediculous.

Fair comment to some degree
However these very same Chinese are now charging us for all the medical equipment etc. needed. They covered up the facts for many weeks as they didn't want their economy ruined....so now the whole world has it and they are now Ok......
The Chinese economy is massive and should be offering free medical equipment and help for those now suffering!!!!!

Goose - that's a different matter to the coronavirus one which I do agree with for certain things. If the OP was referring to this then ok but I'm guessing it's because of the Covid-19 pandemic.

Plus there are many many UK companies that depend on the Chinese manufacturing Nd simply could not exist or would have been unable to start without them.
