Lake. I heard it had a fish kill many years ago.

It doesn't really resemble a lake anymore. It's virtually completely silted up,with sand from the workings now. I've not been down there for a couple of years, but last time I looked it resembled quicksand. A lot of the fish got moved, I believe into broadwater. Even on an old google earth image you can see it looks orange. I will see if I can post one up.

Actually in this newer picture it looks greener than the one I saw, but if you compare it to korda just below it, you can see how totally different it looks to a normal lake now. Just a silted up mess now.

I must confess I've never used the tandoori. The cafe is still there although I think it's called something else now.

Have all the fish been moved on them?
Would be a shame for them to dissappear due to the silting up
I know it lost a lot of its original / Harefield Haulin stock but didn't Boyer restock with some nice fish
Huge bream too

Yeah I was surprised. I remember it looking a lot more orange than that when we were looking at it and I bet that was a good two years ago, and it was fcuked then. God knows what it's like now, basically quicksand I reckon.

Closed to all fishing.
Same as Korda as I have just lost my ticket due to HS2 taking the lake, the biggest kick in the nuts you could imagine.
Harefield still looks lovely, as does Long Pond and Broadwater.
