I do a lot of work overnights so need a decent sleep. That said I hate weight and having trimmed everything down my bed and bag are far and away the worst offender.
I'm using a Trakker RLX Superlite bed weighing in at about 7kgs - don't think this can be improved on but open to suggestions.
My bag is a Trakker 365 which is where things get really heavy in winter mode, not so bad with the liner removed in summer. It weighs around 6kgs with the liner in.
I get a good sleep on this with a SIM and don't want to sacrifice comfort.
Would a techlite be best bet to cut down on weight? I see that weighs 3kgs. Does it have a winter liner that can be removed to further cut down weight? I bet my 365 is close to 3kgs with the winter liner removed. Is the techlite comfy and warm enough in winter? Standard or Compact size for my bed?
Any other suggestions?

The techlite is definitely warm enough with a removable layer, warm enough for me anyway.
Also have a look at the gardner compact bag as that gets good reviews on here.

I had a 365 and it's a brilliant bag but boy is it heavy, got a Techlite and it's lighter than just the inner part of the 365
, plenty warm enough for me and a quality bit of kit (you should hope so at that price) you won't get better if you are after reducing weight

anyone using a standard techlite with an RLX superlite bed? concerned the bag might be a bit too wide for it.

Used the techlite this weekend and wasn't dissapointed. so thin and light even in winter mode and was plenty warm enough down to about 4 degrees. big weight saving on my bed and it packs down noticeably slimmer too.
shouldn't be suprised though cos I've been using a snugpack jacket for years which is every bit as impressive

AD on eBay was next day delivery at no extra cost. Couldn't find anywhere selling it below RRP and I contacted the usual suspects but they didn't offer anything.
