without a doubt the solar adjustables. they have washers to make them bigger or smaller to suit

I use the Nash butt locks for my cork rods. They do seem to grip the rod pretty well.

ive tried many a back rest, most do the job, currently using the ESP version. Superb, cheap as well. Three sizes and they grip extremely well, as do they all really. JAG are good as are the Solar but both are quite expensive.
