Getting old and my back is playing up so I'm looking for a new chair.
Would like it to have adjustable legs, high back and comfortable.
Any recommendations please ?

Solar sofa chair or the fox version of the sofa chair so comfy

I can vouch for the Fox version, it is really comfortable (even more so than the Solar) and light.

The fox one is superb and even more comfy than the solar.

Solar are good Ÿ‘

We have the Solar Sofa, wouldn't say it's high backed but I guess it depends on your height
I'm after one too, can't find one that meets my requirements, closest I've seen is the Fox high back. Would be great if there was a shop where you could try them out!....lot of dosh nowadays to make a mistake.

I have the Fox super deluxe arm chair and it is indeed very comfortable. However, I am not so sure it's an ideal solution when having a bad back.
The very laid back and somewhat low seating position can make it a bit of an effort to get up and out of the chair quickly, which is not necessarily ideal for older people who suffer from bad backs.
I would think one of the taller highback seats with a less "sofa" design might be a better option.
Plenty of options to look at from Trakker, Fox, Sonik, Nash etc

If it helps, I also have this chair which is also very comfortable and a lot easier to get out of quickly when needed and better than all the various chairs I have owned over the years.

One of the problems I've always found on these seats is the base being attached to the upright material wise, it always creates a curve and slouches you which is bad for the lumbar area. The Solar Sofa is good in that respect as it is slightly different in design and doesn't slope forward like that. The only other issue I have with the SSC is for me the very front edge has no padding and as such annoys my tendons/ligaments behind the knee. I got round this by using a pillow to raise my bottom slightly in the chair, very comfy then on week long camping sessions.

Maybe the armchair if talking about the Solar Sofa in comparison...might be the EOS version though.

The 2 main reasons why the Fox is more comfortable to me were the more lower back support and also on the Solar Sofa chair, your hips or legs are 'forced' inside/together making it uncomfortable to lit like that for longer periods I think.

And this is exactly why I sold mine. The pressure on the back of the knee was irritating and uncomfortable which is why the Solar sofa chair had to go.
