I am thinking about a new day shelter and obviously want something quick and easy to set up.
A bit limited for choice here in the U.S. and can only buy sight unseen, as it were.
That being said, I am considering either a Fox Easy Shelter Plus , which I would use without the front infill and the 60" Sonik SK -Tek Brolly.
Which would be easier and quicker to set up and take down ?
I know the Fox is lighter, but not really an issue either would go on the barrow.
I have had good experiences ordering from J.Ross too, which does broaden the choices .
Mainly for shelter from wind and rain, maybe sun in the hotter months, although I don't fish much from May to October, as it's simply brutally hot here. I have been using an old Chub Cyclone EZ shelter, which was a doddle to put up, but the seam tapes are all peeled off now, as it's seen better days I wish someone would make a similar shelter, maybe updated with rear vents etc .

Any input, or alternative suggestions most appreciated, ta.

I use a Sonik AXS bivvy without the front zipped on as my day shelter and from taking it out the bag i can have it up within a minute. Quickest day shelter ive owned.
Don't know if this is available where your from.

Trakker tempest brolly goes up in seconds free standing aswell or if you want a slightly taller version with tempest brolly 100T

Second for the 100/100T, easy up and down, and light to carry.

Korum river brolly.

Leave the two storm poles in place and fold back on the outside on the brolly when packing up. I get away with 2 pegs.

It takes seconds.

Korum river brolly. It's tiny, just about big enough for a low chair and rucksack.

Third for the 100/100T, get the newer version with the rear air vents.

If you may fish in the warmer months, look at the Skull cap, or Skull cap wrap, will give you a bit more layering and shade.

It's a small river brolly I don't think it would suitable for a bedchair you need something like the esp lo pro

JRC Cocoon 2G Shelter?

I have a Daiwa mission day shelter that I use for winter fishing for the last few years, it is the best shelter I have ever used, rock solid in gales, light weight and a doddle to put up. Only downside, just had a look, it seems they are now discontinued ffs unless you can pick one up somewhere, if you can let me know!

Or, have a look at the Korum day shelter light?

For me I would consider what you want from the shelter. For warmer months and walking I have used a normal brolly for years, colder months and when you know it's going to rain I would look for something with more protection. The ones above will take all your tackle, your chair and a barrow pushed under one side if you need to, or a dogs bed etc.

My Titan Hide goes up and packs down pretty quickly (as quickly as a Tempest), but IMHO nothing is as quick and versatile as a brolly with a centre pole, with the storm poles left on.
I turned up in the rain earlier and my brolly was up within seconds, literally twenty seconds at most.

Had a tempest brolly ,but I'm 6'3 and use a higher chair and found it too low, changed to a sonik brolly and find it spot on , quick up and down , bags of room even for overnights . Only slight criticism is when it's windy you will need storm poles as it's a bit ‘ wobbly ‘ 😂
