I currently use a tempest brolly and to be fair, i really like it. The issue that i have is that im pretty tall and during my last week in france, the low brolly caused me a back issue

I tend to fish genuinely quick overnighters and maybe a week or two in france per year. What would you guys recommend as a replacement? I still need it to be quite light and easy to put up.

Happy to stay with trakker but i need a bit more head room, so what model? Ive also had a look at the fox frontier but after owning a mk1 supa brolly, i said I'd never buy a fox shelter ever again, but if they are any good, im happy to consider one

I was in the same predicament. I have a fox frontier x and it ticks all the boxes except the weight. It's pretty heavy!! If the weight isn't an issue I'd go for the frontier. If it is, then I'd definitely go for any of the T range of tempests...the brolly 100T would be a great shout.

i just replaced mine with a solar compact spider which was 290 from tackle tavern inc door and groundsheet - very happy with it so far

Get a 100t second hand- someone that has bought the full system pref.

Im 6ft 4 ish and loads of head room.

I've just got a sonik AXS shelter - going out tonight with 45mph gusts forecast so I'll either be highly recommending it tomorrow or will no longer have a sonik AXS shelter...

I have the sonik axs andi think hard to beat for the money. Everything in the pack and light and quick to set up.

I use an old nash wideboy and a wycwood tactical depending on duration
Both fit fine
