I am looking to buy a new bedchair and I have seen the Solar sp c sleepsystem has anyone got one if so any reviews on the bed and the sleeping bag please

Personally hate sleepsystems. The bed itself is the best bed on the market hut get a separate bag with it.

The bed is brilliant. But I'd echo the bag. Make sure you go and look at it and are happy with it before buying it.
If I was going to buy again I'd look at the bed and then get another bag to fit it. Something like the avid maybe. But the choice is yours.

Basically what he said, the sleeping bag isnt my favorite, and its not really the same principle as say the fox flatliner when they call it a sleep system. its only really a sleeping bag attached to the bed by straps. The fox system as such has a zip all round the bed to attach the bag part of the system. I would deffinately look at just the bed and pair it with another bag, plus the waterproof shroud looks absolute pony, it attaches with buckles which im not a fan of at all. and from my first glance at it doesnt really seem to add much at all.

I went from a fox flatliner sleep system to a Solar Sp Bed and fortis bag. Fortis bag wasnt for me, moved to a gardner dvet compact and its ace

Ive got the gardner plus duvet on my wide sp bed with a glacier 5.0 sim and its like sleeping at home.

Really? Only ever heard positive things about the fortis bag but never seen one in the flesh so cant really comment, just going off other users feedback. I like how compact they go as my wide solar bed and plus size carp duvet nearly take up my whole boot on there own.

The fortus bag IMO is flawed. Firslty no strap to secure it to the bed meaning it moves about on the bed, i was forever lifting myself up and pulling it back out.
Its cut like a camping bag, ie the bottom and top is the same length, do the zips stop at the top of the head, you cant zip it all the way up.
The zips are not 10mm, and they are very loose, evety time i moved it would unzip, not great on a cold night.
The lining although not fleece is so so baggy it tangles you up badly.
The bottom had no insulation, its all on top, its heavy and bulky on top of you compaired to the carp duvet.
All in all i was uttery disappointed by the fotis snugpack bag, having pretty much used a separate bag for many many years 5 nights a week for £260 it should of been much much much better. Fortis are fully aware, they blame snugpak, snugpak blame fortis.
I believe it not to bad if your on the small size of normal.

Weird innit, I have the Fortis bag and think it's brilliant with none of the issues you state, apart from maybe the zip isn't what I'd call a proper 'crash zip' and has been known to get stuck on occasion.

I have the Solar C-Tech and Fortis bag and think its a brilliant combo. I also use the korda cover but thats as much to protect the bag from getting wet as anything.

To be fair to Fortis went i sent them a video they said it wasnt right and sent it over to snugpak who sait it was fine. Guess it just isnt for me that bag!

I have the standard size sleep system, it's far too hot for summer use, so I bought the gardener to use without the insert.
I actually prefer the solar bag if I'm honest, yeah, the cover is a bit naf, but the bag itself is plenty warm. I like the way it velcros to the bed. Never got on with bags that use a srap to secure to the bed
I'm hoping solar will release a summer bag for it, for which there is a massive hole in the market for.
Probably end up selling the Gardner bag as I doubt it will get much use

I have the solar sp ctech wide bedchair with the Gardner carp duvet (full sized one which is mahoosive). It's great. Yes a big chair with a big bag. Well toasty and the comfiest bed I've ever used. Slept like a baby in France for a week.

I have two solar sp c tech beds - normal and wide version - im not a fan of sleep systems - I have a fortis bag that fits the standard version and works perfectly for me in terms of warmth for the weight, if Im on a session ill take the wide version and use that with an old nash frostbite bag that fits and a aqua cover
Brilliant beds - Ive had Nash indulgence for years, still got a levelite and now the solar and for me best bed Ive had and I cant say I feel the cold in either sleeping bag if Im honest - wear the right clothes and hot drirnks youll be fine - if its cold and you are uncomfortable its no fun
