Heard a rumour today that the new Korda nets are the handles and net arms from Dymag.It could be total bullshine but has anyone else heard this

It wouldn't actually surprise me as some of the Korda guys use Graeme's nets when off camera.

Damian Clarke is also a big Dymag fan. Wouldn't surprise me if they put the Dymag net out under licence, The Knet.

It would surprise me. If you want to make any £££ profit the Korda RRP would be massive.

Well if it is it wont be graeme putting them together. And graeme never made the handles he just built them up. It could be true as i believe the handles are available to import if bought in bulk.Harrisons used to import the 2 piece handle but not for some years.

I've got a two piece Harrison handle, they're not uk build, H design drifter 6 it says on one section.

Thats correct they used to import harrison h design rods along with them .👍

I've heard the new net is based on the old Don's of Edmonton springbow net. Tubular spreader block reverses taper handle. And if you watch the latest Neil Spooner vlog from Korda. The net floats without the need.of a net float.

Have you seen/handled one of the korda nets? As good (light and stiff) as the original dymags? I would imagine yes if they are using the exact same pole/arms
Never managed to get hold of a Dymag so excited at the prospect of getting my hands on one.

They are as light but not used one to say 100% as rigid but they're very well made.I nearly sold my mk3 dymag as was very tempted get the korda net when released

Interesting - any idea when they'll be released?

Would be curious to see the RRP - imagine they'll be cheaper than Dymag due to the buying power/mass produced nature or equally may be more expensive as there'll be advertising/consultants to pay. I don't think people will be willing to pay much more for a net though....

I would stick your dymag on ebay bud before the korda one comes out as prices will drop when the korda one comes out i would imagine.

I think the opposite will happen
the value of the Original Dymags will continue to increase as it seems anything thats proper quality and no longer in production just shoots up early Solar gear is a classic example I will never part with my Mk2 Dymag net as there is F*** all that comes close to it

Was thinking of putting up for sale an unused Dymag 42” stalker landing net with the 3ft handle extension with the original receipt and emails following the purchase. Second hand one went for over £300 few months ago. Tempted put on eBay with a reserve of £500.00.....

is this defintely a dymag korda configuration or korda just using the dymag name to cash in

daiwa will be making the poles, surely. Why would Korda use anyone else when they have access to some of the best carbon parts through Daiwa
