Stonehenge 1984 stand in a tin batth and have a shower from a watering can. 20p a go. No shower curtain. Lovely young lady on hand to help. Dance yourself dry.. Bloody Kids today have no idea.

Just add your own water container A 10-litre bucket will offer about 4 minutes of showering. LINKY POO

That's got pretty much half the flow rate or the ridge monkey.
I've used these showers and while a wash is welcome don't over lather your armpits and nether regions because it'll take 3 showers to get the suds off

Nothing wrong with being clean. If you have no option then fair enough, but if there is , why not stay on top of your hygiene a bit?

Well when I'm fishing alone for 3 days to a week I'm not there to impress anyone and also keeps the non fisherman from getting to close when they want to ask if I've caught.😂😂😂

Yep correct the last 5 years I only fished in France as I was reluctant to pay silly money for decent lakes in the UK

Some of the type of anglers these days worrying about a crusty helmet and pongy body odour show where the scene is at these days .
Never bothered me when fishing the Twente canal in Holland being crusty as it was drive and survive everywhere back then .
A bucket on a rope in the canal was as good as it got .

And now there are alternatives to being crusty, you would rather remain crusty than utilise a bit of technology? Its not like were talking bait boats or drones here. Its a shower.

Or is being a smelly ******* on the bank seen as old school?

It's still cheating

I fished France for a good few years if the lake didnt have showers then I would drive to the nearest camp site pay 2 euro and use theirs a couple of times a week
I cant stand manky smelly people near me either

I have told people straight stand down wind of me or come back when you have had a wash ! you bloody stink

Fished the twenty canal a few times, we went to camp site every other day, easy

If you want to stink, fair plays. I'd rather keep myself clean, not to impress anyone but out of respect for my own personal hygiene.

Same one I use Gerry, but its called Andes, £29.99 on ebay. Just take a collapsible water bucket to drop the pump head in to.

well not sure what you mean I started carping in 1963 ? and people I fished with all had good hygiene for the most part

SADLY its now deteriorated to people with no Etiquette that think its all about a case of booze to tip down their neck and by the sounds of things poor hygiene and they think its Carpy ? they havent got a scooby
